Yesterday when I was taking the bus to work, the bus was strangely crowded (apparently the previous two buses hadn’t come), and there were a lot of old people on the bus as is usual in the morning. I just remained standing.
Then an old lady came on the bus. Another somewhat younger old lady was sitting with her granddaughter, and nudged her granddaughter to give up her seat. The girl was maybe fifteen or sixteen years old. But once the old lady sat down, her grandma actually got up and gave her the seat! And she actually took it! She just sat down, with this blank, idiotic expression on her face. Someone standing near them pointed out that maybe it was the grandma who should be sitting, but the grandma only smiled and said that the girl was sick. Sick my ass … more like she’s just dumb as a doorknob and has no sense of respect. Kids these days!
On another note, I ordered pizza for the first time in my life today! I know, it’s crazy, right? I can’t believe I live in North America.

I made a little Chinese/Japanese-style bento thing for my boyfriend! (Pictures below).
My friend Alice came over yesterday and we did some grocery shopping and cooking. It was pretty fun. Now that I’m off summer school for a while, I want to start getting into more cooking, because I’m old enough to do my own cooking, and maybe for my parents too (my mom doesn’t like cooking, so it would be good if I learned to do it).
Anyway here are the pictures. Isn’t it so cute?! (more…)

I can’t write blog posts naturally anymore because now I know my boyfriend reads my blog! So now if I say things like “My birthday dinner was completely beyond anything I could’ve asked for” or “I love my birthday presents and cannot imagine anything I would’ve liked more than them” or “Every single bit of thought, effort, and love put into planning my birthday will be forever cherished and appreciated”, he might think that I’m just writing those things just because I know he’s going to read them. I’m not writing those things just because I know he’s going to read them! They’re all true! Steven I know you’re reading this. *stares*
So anyways, I definitely had the best 19th birthday I could possibly have had! And I can’t write about it in detail in a public blog since he’s going to read it and think that I’m just being nice because he’s going to read it, even though everything nice I want to say about it is genuinely true. Suffice it to say that my 19th birthday with my boyfriend included but was not limited to a beautiful, perfect candlelit dinner by the beach. ♥
Anyways, remember that LG KF350 Ice Cream phone I mentioned that I wanted in a previous post? Well, here are some pictures of the presents he gave me. (more…)

A fashion blog I occasionally read has recently done a post about fashion-related loves and hates—things you love to wear, and things you wouldn’t be caught dead in. So here’s my own list of five fashion loves and hates, in no particular order. (more…)
